One thing that I really enjoy making is word searches. I think they’re a fun way to help kids look over terms that they may be studying or just need to be a little more familiar with. One type of word search that I make here at Real Life at Home are Catholic word search printables with topics that might be helpful for Catholic kids or for people teaching Catholic kids either at home, at religious education, or in a Catholic school.
To make it easier to keep up on some of the Catholic Word Search Printables that I have available on the site, I thought I would put together an index of many of them. I will continue to add to this list as I make more word search printables.
If you want to see all of the Catholic printables on the site (not just the word searches), you can check out the full Catholic Printables Index Page.

Catholic Saints and Feast Days Word Searches (by Month)
There is a word search printable for each month that features saints whose feast days occur during that month. I love that with these, children will see familiar saint names as well as learn the names of saints that they might not have heard of before.
A great follow-up activity to these monthly word searches would be for students to learn about a saint or feast day that they might be unfamiliar with that is featured in that month’s puzzle.

Beverly – I’m sorry, but I don’t have any printables on my site currently that list the books of the Bible. Perhaps you’re thinking of a different website that you saw something like that on?

Angie. Thank you for making these worksheets! I’m a Music Teacher and 1st Gr Religious Ed Teacher at our Catholic School. I don’t have time to make such nice printables, so I really appreciate these being available to print! LOVE the Our Father and Hail Mary word search..a great idea to help them learn the prayer.

Thank you for providing these resources. I teach 3rd grade Religious Education (every Wednesday) in my home parish and my kids love to do word-search and how much fun it is to use these tools to teach them about their faith. I have to have some things for them to do since weekday Religious Education classes are challenging because kids just barely got out of the classroom and they have to sit again for an hour of lessons. Again, thank you.
God bless you and your family…and your ministry.
I have been trying to subscribe for the printable pages as I teach 3rd grade Faith Formation at our Catholic Church. I am not getting an email though. Does this take time?
Angie Kauffman says
I would check your spam or junk folder. My email provider shows that it has sent two emails to you, but neither has been opened. If it’s not in there, it might be your email provider that is blocking the emails.
