Here’s a fun printable Holy Communion word search (or word find) for Catholic kids. It’s great both for children who are preparing for First Communion as well as those who are studying about the Sacraments.

Holy Communion Word Search Free Printable
I just realized the other day that even though I have a whole packet of Holy Communion and Reconciliation printables, as well as things like a Holy Communion Crossword Puzzle and Color Your Own Religious Bookmarks (that are perfect for First Communion time, as well as just a fun activity for religion class), I didn’t have a Holy Communion Word Search.
Now, that may not sound like a big deal, but I have a lot of Holy Communion stuff on the site, as well as a whole lot of Catholic word searches. How I managed to overlook this one, I’m not sure.
To remedy the situation, I have made a set of two Holy Communion word searches that are perfect for First Communion prep classes or for those studying about the Sacraments. (They are available together in a free download that you can grab farther down, where you see a graphic with my heart flowers on it, telling you to download them there.)
In the set, there is one Holy Communion Word Search puzzle with twelve terms to look for. The other word search features 24 words and short phrases to find. That way, the download works for a lot of different age groups.

Holy Communion Word Search Printable Directions
There are two versions of the Holy Communion Word Search printable, but they are both available in the same download. In one version, students will look for 12 words and in the other, students will look for 24 words and phrases.
Words can be found in the puzzles going forwards, backwards, and diagonally (in a variety of directions).
The 24 word/phrase puzzle is definitely larger and more difficult, so make sure to pick the appropriate version for the students you will be using it with.
