I thought of this John 14:15 If You Love Me, Keep My Commandments coloring page with a heart on it while I was sitting in Mass this past weekend. Once we got into our Swagger Wagon to head home, I even wrote myself an email from my phone so that I wouldn’t forget. I’m getting kind of old, you know.
I love stained glass windows, so that made me think of a heart divided into many parts like stained glass window pieces. This is the coloring portion of the page.
I like that this means that this coloring page is perfect for many different age groups. Very young children might just scribble away at the heart with no thoughts to keeping in the individual lines. Children that are a bit older will have no trouble making a very colorful heart and staying within the lines of each compartment. Then, children that are even older might enjoy making a tessellating pattern or zentangle type of pattern in each separate compartment within the heart.
