Free Printable Travel Journal for Kids Post Preview: Looking for fun activities, travel games, and journaling pages for traveling with kids? This free 28-page travel journal for kids will be a great addition to your next trip!
I love doing family travel. Sure, it can get expensive and sometimes it requires a lot of planning, but I love what we have gained as a family and as individuals by making travel a priority. Not that we take big trips all the time, but we’ve tried to make sure that our kids have been able to travel more than we did at their age.
Because I love family travel, I wanted to offer up a fun and free packet that you might enjoy before, during, and after a family trip. This free Travel Journal for Kids can offer them some travel planning, fun activities, games, journaling, and more.

Travel Journal for Kids (Free 28-page Journaling and Games Printable Packet)
Don’t be daunted by the size of this journal. One of the great things about this project is that kids of all ages can pick and choose which pages are right for them. Since it’s free, there is no pressure to use it all.
They might find that there are some pages they don’t want to use at all, while there are others that they want to print out multiple times. Journaling with kids is great when they have some flexibility. Let them figure out what works best for them.
Again, since this packet is free, you can feel good about it even if they decide just to use one page.

Fun Supplies for Your Travel Journaling Pages
I don’t know about you, but one of the things I love about journals and journaling pages is getting to use some fun supplies. I can’t help it – I just love school, office, and art supplies.
While your kids don’t need anything beyond a pen or pencil for the Travel Journal for Kids packet, it’s always special to get a few cool new supplies. This could especially make it a little more interesting for a long road trip.
I love the Sakura Pigma Micron pens! They are my go-to for my planner and, really, for just about everything else. You can get sets that are all black but in varying widths. You can also get them in a variety of colors.
Our daughter, who is always up to something artsy (including a bullet journal), loves both this Journal Planner Pens Set (filled with tons of color options) as well as these Dual Brush Tombow Pens.
One last favorite that we like to use in journals and on journaling pages is Washi Tape! Washi tape is so versatile and comes in tons of fabulous colors, patterns, and sizes.
