Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt Free Printable Activity Post Preview: Have fun on your next trip to the pumpkin patch with this free printable scavenger hunt!

Going to the pumpkin patch during the fall is one of those quintessential family outings. And, even if you don’t go to one as a family, it’s a pretty popular school field trip option.

My favorite thing on field trips to the pumpkin patch is when kids can take the biggest pumpkin they can carry. It’s pretty funny to watch what they attempt (and what some kids can carry!). I’m just saying – it seems like it’s always the smallest kid that can carry the biggest pumpkin. I love that! You go, kid!

For some extra fun on your next pumpkin patch field trip or family outing, I have a free printable pumpkin patch scavenger hunt!

Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt Free Printable Activity

Going to the pumpkin patch is fun in and of itself, especially if you’re going to one with lots of activities available. Adding a scavenger hunt to your day is a fun extension to the festivities.

Of course, when I was growing up, going to the pumpkin patch just meant going to a farm just outside of the tiny village I lived in that literally just had pumpkins out front. Going to the pumpkin patch is quite different now, with many having hayrides, corn mazes, and more.

Admittedly, my most memorable trip to the pumpkin patch was the year I was in second grade. My Girl Scout troop went on a field trip and many girls were not there because chickenpox was working its way through school. I started to not feel great while we were there, and yep – you guessed it. I found chickenpox while laying on my couch when I got home feeling miserable.

Hopefully, your pumpkin patch trip is a little more fun and less chickenpox-y than that trip.
