As if the calendar weren’t enough to let us know, the thermometer is quickly rising and summer time is here. To mark the beginning of summer, I wanted to share a summer coloring pages packet, containing ten pages of summer-themed pictures.

These summer coloring pages don’t just contain a picture on each page, they also have a tracing area to write the word of the picture that is shown. Of course, if you’re just looking for coloring pages, you can always cut off that area when you print out the pages.

These free summer-themed coloring pages would be especially great to use during those afternoons when it’s just too hot to be outside. Or, perhaps after a busy morning at the pool, when you’re just looking for a little down time. Doing lots of activities are fun, but sometimes it’s nice to just hang out and do a little coloring.
