Free Star Wars Valentines, Lunch Box Notes, and Coloring Page Printables Post Preview: In this post, you’ll be able to download a free set of eight Star Wars-themed cards perfect for Valentine’s Day or to use as lunch box notes any time of year. There are also free Star Wars-themed coloring pages.
I love Star Wars. In fact, I have loved Star Wars for just about as long as I can remember. I was born about six months before the first film came out, so I think my love probably started around The Empire Strikes Back. I used to dream that I would marry Harrison Ford one day because I loved both Han Solo and Indiana Jones.
Heck – if you come to my house for breakfast, I could make you Death Star waffles. Yes, we’re big enough fans that when a nephew needed a gift for Eric, he knew this waffle iron, which claims to be “perfect for all your evil waffle needs,” was the best choice. I’ll even set out our Funko Pop bobbleheads of Luke Skywalker, Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron next to you while you finish off the Death Star. I’m a pal like that.
Because of this love for Star Wars, I’m so excited to share a free printable packet inspired by the movies! This free packet has Star Wars valentines (which could also be used as lunch box notes, as only one of the eight valentines says “Valentine” on it) and Star Wars coloring pages.

Free Star Wars Valentines, Lunch Box Notes, and Coloring Page Printables
There are eight different Star Wars valentines in the download. While they all have the same heart Death Star graphic, they use four different colors and there are eight different messages.
I cannot express how much fun we had coming up with messages for the valentines. So, of course, not all may be to your liking. If you like the Star Wars valentines though, just print them up and use the sayings that you like best.
I told Eric and the kids about the Death Star graphic and showed it to them. Then I said on the way to dinner, “Give me some fun, possibly corny, valentine messages.” It turned in to a hilarious drive to and from the restaurant. I promised to use any message that people came up with that they really loved.
There were definitely some that were not so great, but those made us laugh even more. Some messages got tweaked to make them better. However, it was such a fun time that these valentines make me smile, knowing that they were a fun family effort.
The Star Wars Valentines messages we came up with that are included in these valentines:
Note: When there is a (heart) or (love) in the message, it’s because the Death Star heart is used in place of the word.
- The Force is strong with you!
- Together we can rule the galaxy!
- My (heart) belongs to Star Wars {But I think you’re pretty cool too!}
- You (love) Han Solo. {He knows.}
- Come to the Heart Side!
- May the Force be with You!
- It is your destiny to be my valentine.
- I’d take a Death Star laser for you!
It’s probably just me, but that Han Solo one cracks me up every time. Then again, as we’ve already established, I thought he might be my husband one day.
The download also includes a plain coloring page of the Death Star heart graphic, as well as some alternative options that include words that can be colored in. Just pick your favorite and color away!
As I said, there is a coloring page with no wording. The coloring pages with words on them include the following phrases:
- My Heart Belongs to Star Wars
- The Force is strong with this one.
- May the force be with you.
How to Print the Free Star Wars Valentines
Once you download the free Star Wars printable packet, the second and third page are the valentines. I recommend printing as many pages as you need on white cardstock. They are decorated on the front, but plain on the back for your child (or you) to write who they are to and from.
As I mentioned earlier, since only one actually says “Valentine” on it, these are also great to save and slip into lunch boxes (even for adults!).
Printing the Free Star Wars Coloring Pages:
The Death Star inspired heart coloring pages are pages four through seven in the packet. Since they all use the Death Star inspired heart, you’ll probably want to just pick your favorite to print.
However, if you’re having a Star Wars party, it could be fun to set out a few of each design option.
Another fun Star Wars valentine idea would be to print out enough copies of the coloring pages to put one coloring page in each goodie bag you hand out on Valentine’s Day.
Star Wars Valentines and Coloring Pages Terms of Use:
These are free for personal or classroom use only. (If you need this for a larger use or you want one page of all the same type of valentine, please contact me about pricing.) I am using the graphic with direct permission from the artist and have paid for the right to do so. You may not use the graphic on other projects.
These cannot be sold, published, or hosted on other websites. Hi Angie,
I’m so glad to have discovered your website! I been homeschooling my son, Xander, for 5 years. Xander is 13 years old, he has Down Syndrome and Autism and I am now trying to plan his catholic religion lesson plans “on the fly”. I’ve been using the “We Believe” book series but felt that, by the 4th grade book, it was getting over his cognitive abilities. Xander really enjoys reading the bible, one
of his many obsessions, so I’ve just decided to keep religion simple. After reviewing your website I think I’ll be able to use many of your resources. My 15 year old daughter & my husband also have Asberger’s, so anything that keeps my life simple is best. God Bless You and keep up the good work.
Thank You,
Laura Sherman

Hi Laura,
Perhaps your area has the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in a nearby parish/ school.
Your son would expound in learning so much in a Montessori approach to our faith.
Hope all goes well for you and Xander.
