Free Snowman Worksheets for Preschool and Kindergarten Students Post Preview: In this post, you can request a free 25-page packet of snowman printables for preschool and kindergarten students. There are also additional winter resources and free printables.

Although I think it’s been feeling like winter around my house for a while now, it’s almost officially winter. Admittedly, I like to think of winter as a time to cozy up inside and enjoy hot chocolate or spicy chai tea. However, a snowy winter makes for lots of outdoor fun opportunities, such as some winter science observations, winter nature studies, or building a snowman.

Free Snowman Worksheets Packet for Preschool and Kindergarten Students

The snowman worksheets learning packet is 25 pages long. However, that’s because it includes many of the pages with two printing options – either with color graphics or blackline graphics (which can be colored in, if children want). The 25-page packet is, essentially, two separate 13-page packets in one file. Because of some information pages plus pages that were blackline for both packets, the math may not seem like it comes out right on that, so you’ll just have to trust me.

The 13 pages of activities focus on early math, writing, and language arts skills perfect for preschool and kindergarten children. However, you may find that some of the pages are wonderful for kids a little younger or a little older, depending on individual needs and abilities.

The nice thing is, however, since the packet is free, there is no pressure to feel like you have to use every worksheet in the packet. You could download it just for a single color page, for instance. Just print and use what you need!

The Snowman Worksheets for Preschool and Kindergarten Contents

To make it easier to print out just the packet option that you want, I have grouped the pages together so that you’ll be able to print pages 3 – 15 if you want the color graphics option or 13 – 25 if you want the blackline graphics option.

  • Line tracing pages
  • Simple maze page (to work on fine motor skills)
  • Counting objects pages
  • Beginning letter sounds page
  • Pages to work on visual discrimination to recognize the smallest and largest objects in a line
  • Number tracing page
  • Shape tracing page
  • Draw your own snowman page where children are given a hat and scarf and fill in the rest of the picture
  • Two snowman coloring pages with decorative borders

There is also a terms of use and copyright information page as well as a printing directions page. The printing directions page tells you which pages to print for the color packet and which to print for the black and white packet.

Your site is unbelievable!! My 3 y/o great-grandson is ready and eager to learn everything he can get his hands on. As a retired 30 yr kindergarten teacher, I love working with him and seeing the look on his face when we “do our homework.” (He has an 11 y/o sister.) Being retired, I no longer have the files of activities so these activities are awesome for me and save so much time creating. Thank you so much for your generosity!
