Winter seems like a perfect time to work on some activities about Antarctic and Arctic Animals, doesn’t it? Sure, I know – it’s not actually a winter theme, but it just fits perfectly to me when kids are thinking of snow and cold. There are so many fun activities that can be done, and as a companion to those, I have a free printable Antarctic and Arctic Animals Printables Set for Preschoolers.
Antarctic and Arctic Animals Printables Packet for Preschoolers
This Antarctic and Arctic Animals packet contains six pages of activities that are perfect for preschoolers, but also may be appropriate for kids a little younger and a little older, depending on individual needs and goals.

While I mentioned winter while talking about this packet, this is, of course, good for any time of year when you’re talking about Antarctic and Arctic areas and habitats. If you are teaching multiple ages in your home, this is a great packet to give to younger siblings while older siblings are studying habitats or biomes.
The Free Antarctic and Arctic Animals Printables Preschool Packet includes:
- Line tracing page
- Maze line tracing page
- One-to-one correspondence counting page (finding how many animals or objects are in each box)
- Visual discrimination/comparing skills to find the largest object in each row
- Coloring page of a fox
- Coloring page of a penguin
There is also a cover page and terms of use page.
