Easy Halloween Word Search Printables Post Preview: This set of easy word find printables is a great Halloween activity for elementary-aged kids. Each puzzle features eight words on a Halloween theme plus a picture of the same theme to color afterward.
It seems like October just started and now we’re already just about half way through the month. I’m really not sure how that happened, but here we are.
I’m looking forward to the last half of the month because it will include celebrating Christmas with my family. (Yes, Christmas in October. But, when you’re spread out, you do it when it works.) I’m also gearing up to see Hamilton: An American Musical for the sixth time. (Yeah, I know. It’s ridiculous. I just love it.)
Of course, I know a lot of you are probably looking forward to the end of the month for Halloween. That seems more reasonable than for Christmas or a sixth time seeing Hamilton.
So, for all of you gearing up for Halloween (and not Christmas), I have a set of free Easy Halloween Word Search Printables today.
Note: The text links to download the word search printables are toward the end of this post. There is also a link for each individual puzzle in the section of this post about that printable.

If you love word finds and you’re a regular reader, you probably already know that there are a ton of free word search printables here. They cover lots of different topics and there are several different levels of difficulty amongst the word searches. There is a little something for everyone.
However, as I mentioned earlier, these Easy Halloween Word Search Printables are part of a small series of fall-related word finds that I have been posting this autumn. All of these word search puzzles are easy with small puzzle areas and just eight search words. You’ll also find the word search portion within whatever shape they are about and it can be colored afterward, so they’re like two activities in one.
These Halloween-themed puzzles include pictures and the following themes: pumpkins, witches, costumes (with a ghost costume), trick or treating, and spiders.

Hi there,
I think your Trick or Treat Word Search might have an error. There doesn’t seem to be the word GUM.
Angie Kauffman says
It took a bit for me to have time to fix it, but I figured it was after Halloween anyway, so that was okay. I looked, and you were right – the woman who made it for me left off gum. I think she had a spot for it but then made it hum instead of gum. But I got it fixed up now. 🙂
