It’s finally time – the podcast is back with a new episode!
In today’s episode, I’m sharing ten things every homeschool parent should know, especially those that are just starting out on their homeschooling journey. For that segment, I shared Jen Dunlap‘s post about 10 Things Every New Homeschooler Needs to Know and then added a lot of my own thoughts as well.
Apparently it should have been named the Jen Show for this episode, because in the second segment, I shared her piece about pencils. Or really, it’s a lack of pencils and how that just wasn’t what she thought homeschooling was going to look like. When I first read that post before it was published here, I thought she had been spying on my family. It turns out that once it hit social media, this was a common issue among homeschoolers because we heard from many of you with the same issues.
You have a couple of options for checking out today’s podcast episode. You can either listen to it right here on the site, thanks to this handy dandy audio player. (If you’re reading this in a feed reader or by email, you probably won’t be able to see the audio player without coming to the site.) You can also download this episode to your computer and listen to it.
Another listening option would be to go to iTunes and either download just this episode (which is free) or, what I would recommend, just subscribe to the whole podcast. It’s free to subscribe and then you won’t have to worry about going to iTunes to download episodes. They’ll just be added to your iPod/iPad/iPhone/whatever whenever there are new episodes.
If you listen to today’s episode and like it, I would love, love, love it if you could rate the podcast or leave a review on iTunes. It helps us reach new people who might also be in need of some encouragement. Thanks!
