May Word Search Printable Set for Kids

The weather here in Indiana has gone from what seemed like an endless winter straight into summer-like weather. You know what that means? It’s a Midwestern Spring! The calendar also flipped about a week and a half ago, so that means it’s time for a free May Word Search Printable Set for Kids.

This free download includes two different versions of the May word search. There is an easier version and a harder version.

In addition to that, each of those has two versions. In one version, the letters are in a grid and in the other, they are not.

Don’t worry, as you won’t have to pick the version you want to do before you download. Just download the free set and then pick out the one that will be the best fit for your children or students and print only that one.

May Word Search Printable for Kids

The easier version of the May word search printable contains eight words that are associated with May, as well as coloring areas of a butterfly and flowers. The harder version of the word search has 14 words and phrases, as well as a coloring area of a butterfly and one with a mom with flowers. (If you want a full page butterfly coloring page, I have a free one right here!)

If you prefer to skip out on the coloring areas, this puzzle could also be printed on festive spring colored papers instead of plain white paper.

May Words and Phrases included in the May Word Search Printable

The easier version has eight words. The words can be found going up and down and left to right. In the two phrases that have “day” in parentheses, students will not look for the word “day.”

The harder version includes fifteen words and phrases for May.  The words go up and down, left to right, and diagonally. The words and phrases in the harder version include:
