In this packet, children will be able to work on both recognizing a pattern and then deciding what will come next. Students will also work on fine motor skills with both cutting and pasting since answers can be cut from the bottom of the page and glued at the end of each pattern line.
This math patterns packet is most suitable for children in preschool through 1st grade. However, you know what your children or students are learning and working on, so use your best judgment. You might find that it is appropriate for students that are both older and younger than this suggestion.
The packet is free, so if it’s not a perfect fit for your situation, you won’t be out any money. Bonus!

How to Use the Cut and Paste Autumn Patterns Worksheets Packet
All of the pictures on the fall math pattern printables are outlines. This means that you can either decide to have children color in the pictures or you can have them not color any of them. It’s really up to you! (If you don’t want them to color them in, I would suggest printing them on some festive fall-colored paper.)
Children will cut out the bottom line of each paper in order to cut out the three answer boxes at the bottom of the page. Students will then glue the correct answer at the end of each of the three lines of patterns on a page.
You can decide whether to give all eight pages of the math patterns printables at once or just one or two at a time. However, if you are having children color the pages, I would definitely keep it to one page at a time. That’s a lot of pictures to color!
