This Most Holy Name of Jesus Coloring Page set is a bit of a departure from the usual coloring pages that Eric and I make. While these ones could definitely be done by younger children as well, I wanted to make a design that older kids might have fun with as well.
To do this, I went with a hand drawn style approach that would be perfect for coloring in with markers or colored pencils. This page offers lots of small areas for coloring and really being creative. And the best part about it? It’s all to celebrate Jesus’ Holy Name.

While I made this printable specifically with the January third feast day of The Most Holy Name of Jesus, this is one that is fabulous to do year round.

I originally published this coloring page as a single coloring page when I had Catholic Printables Online, before I merged all four of my sites into Real Life at Home. When I was recently looking at this printable, I knew that the script font on “The Most Holy Name of” might be difficult for young children to read.
Because of this possible difficulty for younger kids, I have added in an identical coloring page that has “The Most Holy Name of” in more of a print-style with letters that can also be colored in. Both versions are in the free download of the Most Holy Name of Jesus coloring page set. You’ll just print out whichever version you prefer!
If you happen to notice, however, this is why the copyright date on one of the coloring pages is listed as 2014 and the other is listed as 2017.
A few years ago, when Molly was nine, this is what her end result was with the Most Holy Name of Jesus coloring page (hanging on our refrigerator):

If you are having clarity issues with the printable, please right click on the image and choose “Save Link As” and download the document to your computer. Then, open it from your computer, rather than through your web browser’s PDF plugin, which can sometimes cause some blurriness or other issues. Another solution can be to download the printable in a different web browser than you usually use.

I’d like to echo Natalie’s comments above…thanks so much for the resources!! I teach 2nd grade CCE and though we have workbooks for the children, they aren’t allowed to write in them, as we can’t buy new books every year. So your printables are a great way to enrich our curriculum!! Many blessings on you and your family, and on your great site! Thanks!

Thank you so much, Veronica! I never even thought about some of the small religious education programs that might not have a budget for new materials and the like benefiting from this site. This really made my night. 🙂
As I said to Natalie, please be sure to pass along any special requests.
