Valentine’s Day Alphabet Printables Practice Packet
This packet is 29-pages long, featuring one page for every letter in the alphabet. This makes the Valentine’s Day Alphabet Printables Packet perfect for working on just a few specific letters or for working on the whole alphabet.
The packet is ideal for preschool and kindergarten students. However, it may be beneficial for many first grade students, as well as some older students depending on their specific abilities and educational needs.
Contents of the Valentine’s Day Alphabet Printables Packet
This free packet is 29-pages long. This includes a packet cover page, which you could opt to use with your kids or students as a cover page for their own packet as well.
There is a Valentine-themed Alphabet Practice Sheet. This includes letters to trace in both upper case and lower case printing. This page has the whole alphabet on it.
Contents of Each Individual Letter Page
In addition to the pages mentioned above, the largest portion of the packet is for individual letter practice. There are 26 pages for practice on specific letters in the alphabet. Each letter has its own page.
Each page includes:
- A picture with directions of how to make the upper and lower case of the letter for that page
- Three lines to practice writing the capital letter for the page
- Two lines to write the lower case letter for that page
- A heart graphic with letters inside circles. Children will color in only the letters that are the ones that were practiced on that page. There is a short instruction that tells them which letters to color.
How to Use This Packet
First important thing: You don’t really have to use this packet around Valentine’s Day if you don’t want to. Other than the cover page, there is no specific mention of Valentine’s Day. So, feel free to use these pages whenever you want. Hearts are not exclusive to February 14th.
All of the pages (except one) of the Valentine’s Day alphabet printables packet are outlines. This is great for saving on printer ink!
I would recommend just giving students one or two pages to work on at a time. However, if you want to put together a whole packet for them, you could consider using it for at-home practice or put it in a pronged folder in the classroom for them to work on over a certain course of time.
This packet is free for Real Life at Home email subscribers. It is free to use in your classroom or in your home only. You may not use it with multiple classrooms or large groups for free. (There is a way to get it and not subscribe, however. You’ll just need to grab it in the shop for $2.00.)
You may not share this printable packet with others as a pdf file (electronic file), on the web, via email, or in any other way other than as a printed page or packet. If you would like to share it with others, please send them to this post (or to the shop) so they can get it here.
