15 Refreshing and Delicious Homemade Ice Cream Recipes

Ice Cream In a Bag – Little Bins for Little Hands :: fun as a science experiment or just as a fun summertime activity

Reese’s Stuffed Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches – Tastes of Lizzy T :: not only do these look delicious, but I love how she wrapped them up with wax paper and baker’s twine

A super cute set of baker’s twine

Cinnamon and Caramel Fried Ice Cream – Growing Up Gabel :: I love the adding of texture on this one!

Butter Pecan Ice Cream – Bunny’s Warm Oven :: this looks so easy (two main ingredients to make the vanilla ice cream and no churning or ice cream machine needed)

Blueberry Vanilla Ice Cream Cake – The Jenny Evolution :: This is beautiful and would make a dessert that everyone would talk about at a gathering!

No Churn Creamsicle Homemade Ice Cream Recipe – Mama Loves Food :: Three ingredients, no ice cream machine needed, and it’s beautiful! Score!

For recipes that don’t need an ice cream maker, a stand mixer is a plus. This is mine. I love her. She is shiny and red and does all the work for me.

Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream – Magnolia Days :: This one would be super creamy!

Blueberry Ice Cream – Simply Whisked :: Blueberries are a super food, so that makes this homemade ice cream healthy, right? (Okay, it was worth a try.)

Vegan Chocolate Ice Cream – Ilona’s Passion :: This looks delicious and would be perfect for vegans or for those only dairy free.

Smurfberry Ice Cream – Little Blog in the Country :: Smurf yourself a big smurf of this homemade ice cream. (That’s what the Smurfs would say, I would imagine.)

Mint Cookies and Cream Ice Cream – Gather for Bread :: If you want a more natural mint chocolate chip ice cream, this ice cream (made into homemade ice cream sandwiches later) would be perfect!

Galaxy Ice Cream – Some of This and That :: For real, this is so beautiful! I love all of the colors, and it also needs just a few ingredients. (She recommends these types of food coloring, which is what I often use when I need food coloring as well. It’s so much more vibrant than the ones we used when I was a kid.)

Cotton Candy Ice Cream – Homemade Hooplah :: You had me at cotton candy.

Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream – A Happy Food Dance :: What says summer like toasted marshmallows and s’mores? Holy yum! (If you’re making this with kids, you might love these s’mores and camping themed books and free printable set!)

Peach Ice Cream – A Happy Food Dance :: This recipe that uses fresh peaches would be amazing for a light summertime treat!

Not in the mood for ice cream after all of that? Maybe some homemade ice pops would be more your speed!
