It’s safe to say that it is “officially” ice cream season. Of course, ice cream is delicious year-round! However, there is something just a little more refreshing about a big waffle cone sporting one’s favorite flavor when the temperature rises. Or, a hot fudge sundae so big you need to share with a friend.

Well, I am here to help your summer taste even better! This Coconut Milk Hot Fudge is so delicious that it will leave you craving more. You’re going to want to keep a jar of this stashed in your fridge all summer long. One can never be too prepared for an ice cream craving!

The best part about this chocolate goodness, besides eating it, of course? It is so simple to make. You need just TWO ingredients and about 5-minutes. That’s it! I used my favorite coconut milk, Thai Kitchen, and chocolate chips to make this amazing hot fudge sauce.

I’m sure you can guess that this sauce is absolutely delicious over vanilla ice cream!

Coconut Milk Hot Fudge Sauce + vanilla ice cream = something magical!

However, I would be remiss if I neglected to tell you another sweet thing about this hot fudge sauce. Upon refrigeration, it cools to an almost mousse-like consistency. I encourage you to just try a little bite. It is heaven on a spoon!

Need hot fudge sauce again? No problem! Just rewarm, and you are ready to go!

This is a great idea. It would make for a good dip for sliced fruit as well . I’ll be pinning so I can make this later. Thank-you ☺️

So this is basically a ganache, but with coconut milk! YUM! I love ganache, but silly me, never thought to pour it over ice cream. I’m gonna have to try this ASAP. Your pictures make me want it right now for breakfast 🙂

WOW! I just so happen to have a can of coconut milk in my pantry that I bought while on sale. (I have never used it for anything other than Tres Leches cakes.) Thanks so very much for the wonderful recipe I can now add to my repertoire. And I have just a few moments ago started a freezer of ice cream. Great timing!!!
