I love Advent. It’s a great time of year, even if I don’t necessarily always love the lack of sunlight. However, the lights on the house and festive decorations help it to feel a little cozier as we wait for Christmas.

Today, I have a set of color your own printable Advent Calendar Coloring Pages. These would be fun activities to color each day in December for your kids as they wait for Christmas or set up as a banner with some little clothespins and twine for a holiday decoration at home. Plus, I even have ideas for Advent activities in the printable as well as in a totally separate Advent Activities printable.

Printable Advent Calendar Coloring Pages

This Advent calendar coloring pages set (or Christmas countdown calendar) is perfect for all ages. You can color it yourself for very young children and then use it as an Advent and Christmas display.

If you have children that are toddlers or preschoolers through even high school, you could have them color or decorate each page. Of course, you could also make it a whole family activity.

This isn’t just for kids though. Maybe you’re an adult with no kids in your home, and you just want a festive decoration. It’s perfect for that too!

You or your kids can color these mini pages with crayons, colored pencils, markers (here are our favorite markers), paint, or whatever you want!

How to Use the Christmas countdown Coloring Pages Printable Set

You can either color all of the pages before December (or Advent) starts or you can color them each day to show the countdown.

While you can just use these pictures as decorations, another way to use them is to write an activity for your children or family to do on the back of each picture. Then, when it is that day on your countdown, you and your family can complete the activity you wrote on the back. This is a great way to make your Advent calendar more interactive.

Once you have all of your pictures colored, you might decide to make sure you can reuse them every year by laminating the pages. (This is my favorite inexpensive laminator to have at home. I love it, and it has come in handy so many times.)

How to Display Your Advent Calendar Coloring Pages

This will ultimately be up to you and what works best for your family and your home. However, one way to do it would be to string them along a strand of garland or decorative twine and use tiny clothespins to hang them up.
