Nerds can’t really be grouped into one giant grouping with a label of “this would be a perfect gift for a nerd.”  Just like anyone else, nerds love different types of things.  Some are really into something like Star Trek, for instance, and some (like this one here) are not.  Some love books and others love movies.  This is not a one size fits all list.

So, use this list as a general guide for some fun, nerdy finds, but you must know your nerdy girl to know if it’s actually something that she’ll like or not.  I’ll include some things on the list, for example, that aren’t of interest to me at all, along with things that I think are the coolest.

Bottom line advice: Know your nerd before buying their gift.

(Buying for a guy?  You can check out my gift ideas for geeky guys too.)

I don’t know if this is nerdy or not, but I want dark colored crew socks. Mine always seem to be in the laundry!

Okay, I don’t really consider myself a nerd, but I wouldn’t mind having a couple of those. 🙂 I really like the Mockingjay pin and the “I wear this shirt periodically” t-shirt.

Molly has a “I wear this shirt periodically” shirt, though it doesn’t look exactly like the one shown. It’s one of my favorite shirts of hers. Cracks me up every single time.
