This copywork page featuring a quote from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta (also commonly known to people at Mother Teresa) could also be used as a prayer journal page if your child has a prayer journal.
I thought this quote from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta was an especially appropriate quote to use as a handwriting page. “I’m a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.”
A good follow up activity might be to discuss the meaning of this quote with your children. In what ways can we be a pencil for a writing God? What can we do to deliver His love letter to the world?
(Challenge Activity: Actually go do some of those ways that you thought of!)
There are three versions of this download, but they are all combined into one PDF document. One set is for printing, one is for cursive, and one is a D’Nealian style of printing. In the document, there is one page with the quote on it, and then a blank, lined page for copying the quote.
Note: This download is free for personal or classroom use. It cannot be sold or published on other websites. If you want to pass along the printable though, please feel free to share a link to this post with others. Thanks!
All of the pages are crisper when you open the file than they appear to be on the thumbnail here.
(If you are having clarity issues with this printable, please right click on the image or link and choose “Save Link As” or “Save Target As” and download the document to your computer. Then, open it from your computer, rather than through your web browser’s PDF plugin, which can sometimes cause some blurriness or other issues. Another option is to go to a different web browser to open the link, such as Safari if you use Mozilla Firefox, for example.)
