The month of May is dedicated to venerating Our Blessed Mother, Mary. Many people honor Mary extra this month with extra rosaries and prayers. However little kids can’t always sit through extra devotions. To foster a love for Mary, you can start with this activity!

Color in the picture of Mary and the crowns on the second page. The cut out the crown of your choosing and crown Mary by gluing it onto her head.
Alternatively, you could affix some small magnet strips to the back of each crown. (I use these) Print the second page as many times as you your kids want and let them decorate the crowns in different ways. Place Mary’s picture on the fridge, and then your kids can crown Mary over and over throughout the month of May.
(Always be careful when using Magnets- do NOT use small magnets if you have young children who may eat them.)

This is such an awesome idea! I especially love the idea of using magnets and posting the Mary pic on the fridge. I am hoping to use this craft for our parish’s Children’s Liturgy on Sunday. Thank you for sharing your talents in such an inspiring way!
