Last week, I shared a crossword puzzle with facts about Abraham Lincoln. It seemed only fitting that with Presidents’ Day and George Washington’s birthday coming up that I would also share a George Washington crossword puzzle this week.

This crossword puzzle can be great whether you’re doing a whole unit study on President Washington or if you’re just planning to do this puzzle as just an afternoon activity. The answers will either be things that your children already may know about George Washington or they will be facts that they should be able to find in books or online.
