A special thanks also to my readers who have absolutely no interest in First Communion things.  You’ve had to read quite a few posts about it lately, so I appreciate you hanging in there!  Today’s post will be the last for a little while at least.

This weekend, it was that time of year when I snap pictures of all of the First Communion banners at our parish.  It is the third time that we’ve had a banner from our own family up there on the wire.  This time, it marked a turning point in our family.  This time around it meant that now everyone in our household would be receiving Holy Communion.

As in the past, I have blurred out any last names that may appear on the banners.

You can see Molly’s banner in this next picture.  We used patterns from the First Communion Preparation and Patterns eBook for her banner, plus self adhesive felt letters that we purchased.

A personalized gift is a real statement about the time and care that you have put into selecting a gift for that special First Communicant. My children have treasured personalized gifts they have received, and I think it’s because they feel uniquely personal.  If you need to buy any First Communion gifts this year (or have other special occasions coming up), definitely take a few minutes to check out Personal Creations.
