Sign of the Cross Prayer Copywork Printables

I would suspect that it’s safe to guess that the Sign of the Cross prayer is one that Catholics say most often, with it coming both before and after other prayers.  This is probably why it is one of the first prayers that children learn.

This makes it a perfect prayer to use for copywork (handwriting)!

When you download this packet, you’ll receive versions in traditional printing, D’Nealian, and cursive. That way, you can choose what works best for your child, plus is will save you an extra step if you have some children using some type of printing and some writing in cursive.

Note: This download is free for personal or classroom use.  It cannot be sold or published on other websites.  If you want to pass along the printable though, please feel free to share a link to this post with others.  Thanks!  Read other important terms of use for printables from Real Life at Home.

This is awesome! It is so easy to use and geared just for the little ones. I have first
grade CCD and I wish I had this years ago. I am always looking for things that are easy
and can be done within a few minutes after teaching a lesson. Thank You!!!

Thanks so much, Eileen! While I haven’t taught CCD myself (although I’ve been asked a few times, but it never worked), I used to be a classroom teacher and have taught several different co-op classes, so I definitely agree that sometimes it’s nice to have something that can fill just a little bit of time, but still be meaningful.

If you ever have any specific requests of something that you’d like to see, be sure to let me know! 🙂

Absolutely love all your ideas and especially since I teach CCD classes with only 6 kids in my 1st communion class this will certainly offer a variety of ideas! God bless you!
