Shapes are such a fun thing to teach to the preschool crowd!  Besides encounters in everyday life, there are fun activities to help young ones learn shapes.

Here are several shapes resources that I use in our homeschool with my little ones.

Shape and Pattern Matching Activity – Seven Thirty Three
Download the template for this shape and pattern matching game.  There are several ways to play!

Shape Playdough Mats – 3 Dinosaurs
Use playdough to create different shapes on the printable playdough mats.  Featuring hearts, diamonds, crescents, and more.

Shapes-Themed Printable Packet – The Homeschool Classroom
This 5-page packet includes tracing, shape find, shape names, patterns, and matching.

Shapes Worksheet Packet – Free Homeschool Deals
This 4-page printable packet includes following directions, color the shape, counting sides, and shape riddles.

My Color the Shapes Book – Mama’s Learning Corner
Print this mini-coloring book and follow the directions for coloring each shape.
