Not Just Mother and Daughter, but Sisters as Well

I hadn’t thought deeply about the fact that Molly will often get close to me during Mass, hug me, or squeeze my hand when there are a couple of mentions of “sisters and brothers.”

I didn’t even think about it until this weekend when she leaned up against me and squeezed, and I looked down at her face smiling up at me, filled with love, that I think it must really speak to her heart that we’re not just mother and daughter, but we’re also sisters in Christ.

My cup runneth over.
