One of the places my kids love to go eat is Culver’s. So, you can imagine how excited they were when I said that we were not only going to go eat at Culver’s, but that we would definitely be getting cheese curds in order to partner with Culver’s to share all about National Cheese Curd Day.

Wait. What do you mean you don’t know about National Cheese Curd Day?

Okay, so maybe it’s not as widely known as Thanksgiving, but it does involve some pretty delicious food. Plus, you have plenty of time to get ready to do your own celebration at Culver’s, since National Cheese Curd Day is on October 15th.

In fact, thanks to Culver’s, I have four coupons for a free regular order of cheese curds to give our to some curd nerds out there. So, you’ll want to be sure to check out this post to learn more and then comment below for a chance to get one.

This was at the point where I had to stop my kids so I could get just a few more pictures. They definitely love those Culver’s Cheese Curds!

What is a Cheese Curd?

If you’re not familiar with cheese curds, you’re probably curious what this is all about. Cheese curds are bite-sized chunks of white and yellow cheddar cheese.

Here’s a video to check out all about what cheese curds are and how they’re made.

By the way, do you want to know something I have in common with cheese curds? We’re both from Wisconsin! Although, both myself and all of the cheese curds pictured here managed to make their way at some point in their lives to Indiana.

More Fun Facts about Culver’s Cheese Curds

Not only is all Culver’s cheese made using farm fresh dairy from Wisconsin family farms, but all of the Culver’s Cheese Curds come specifically from La Grander Hillside Dairy in Stanley, Wisconsin. Having lived the first part of my life in a small village in Wisconsin that was surrounded by dairy farms, I love Culver’s commitment to Wisconsin Dairy Farms.

If you’ve had cheese curds before, but just not ones from Culver’s, you’re in for an extra treat, since Culver’s Cheese Curds are breaded with a signature blend of herbs and spices. I have to admit that while I won’t eat traditional cheese curds, I’m a big fan of Culver’s Cheese Curds.

A Couple of Hacks for Eating Your Culver’s Cheese Curds

Culver’s Cheese Curds are definitely a family favorite, so if you have a bunch of people in your family, you might need more than one order. I know we usually do!

If you want to show off the ooey gooey goodness of the cheese curds, you’ll want to do a cheese pull as soon as you get your cheese curds. My kids all had to give it a try as well:

For an all new taste and texture experience, grab a pile of your cheese curds and add them to your ButterBurger.

While we didn’t try that out, we did all enjoy delicious ButterBurgers, Cheese Curds, Onion Rings, and, of course, dessert of the always delicious Culver’s Frozen Custard.
