Molly recently shared with me what she plans to be when she grows up. She has decided that she will be a ballet teacher, gymnastics instructor, artist, and Mom.

Now, before you just say, “Wow – that’s a lot of things!” let me tell you that this six year old has a plan.  She has decided that she will have her own business that offers both ballet classes and gymnastics classes.  Molly says that one door will open up to the gymnastics side and another door will open to the ballet studio.  She said that far in the back, where other people don’t go, she’ll have her art studio.  She did say, however, that she’ll let her family go in there.

Then, she plans for her and her family to live upstairs – on top of the gymnastics/ballet/art studios.  As her kids get older, she says they can even help out with her businesses.  She said she would also let them take classes for free.

One thing that a couple of my sisters and I were talking about earlier this summer is what an entrepreneurial spirit my Mom’s side of the family has.  Apparently at six years old, Molly has already been bitten by that bug.  I love that she not only came up with all these ideas of what she wants to be when she grows up, but she sat down and realized that it would take some creative maneuvering to make it work and came up with a plan. What a fun little girl she is!

She is so cute. It’s nice that she will let the kids take her classes free ; )

That’s awesome. Tell her to start saving for her down payment on the “studios” now. I think it’s a beautiful thing to have a vision now that she can work toward.
