Math is much more than boring textbooks, repetitive worksheets or memorizing tables. Keep your children engaged with these free math resources that add up to tons of fun! (I have also added in pictures of some of our favorite math products, which all contain affiliate links.)
1.Count Us In
Looking for some fun online games to help reinforce number concepts? Count Us In has 15 games for you to peruse with your children.
2.Elementary Math Games
Elementary Math Games has math games to play online, as well as worksheets. The site is geared for first grade through eighth grade.
3.Click on Bricks
Click on Bricks uses LEGO bricks to help teach and reinforce multiplication facts.
4.Break Away from the Math Book
This extensive site has hundreds of creative math projects and puzzlers for students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Print out this free math game, add your own manipulatives like beads or pom-poms, then watch your kids have a ball practicing their math facts.
File Folder Fun has games for preschoolers through third grade. Simply print the game pieces out and run them through your laminator. Create the game with some colored file folders, and your kids will learn by playing.
7.MathNook
Math Nook hosts loads of free online math games arranged by category. Your students can work on money, rounding, division and more.
8.Math Ebook
Math Ebook has suggestions for kindergarten all the way through high school. There are downloadable ebook tutorials and videos to help your children learn math concepts.
9.Multiplication Rocks
Need some rockin’ multiplication drill practice? Try this site on for size.
10.SchoolHouse Rock
If you grew up in the 80’s, you’ll remember these catchy jingles from Saturday morning cartoons. Search YouTube and create your own Schoolhouse Rock playlist.
11.Curriclick
If you peruse the selections at Currclick, you’ll find lots of free math printables and fun.
12. Number Nut
Number Nut has a giant range of topics, all the way from counting to pre-algebra.
Lessons and quizzes are simple and easy to understand. I picked up a few ideas to help boost Rachel’s money math skills.
