Course Dessert

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Box of Extra Moist Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 12 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip completely thawed
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Steps for Crust/Bottom:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and water until well blended.
  • Add cake mix to your large mixing bowl. Combine all ingredients together by hand until well blended.
  • Fold chocolate chips into the mixture.
  • Spread into the bottom of your pan and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden.
  • Allow to cool completely.

Steps for Cheesecake Topping:

  • In a large mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese, Cool Whip, and sugar.

  • Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.

These bars can also be lightly garnished on top with some pretty sprinkles or mini chocolate chips!
