maple syrup

pumpkin puree
not pumpkin pie filling

salt

cinnamon

oats
Instructions
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine syrup, pumpkin, water, salt, and cinnamon.
Bring to a simmer.
Stir in oats and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until tender. 25-30 minutes.
Serve with a little extra maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon. A splash of milk or cream would be delicious.
Notes
This recipe refrigerates beautifully. I highly recommend doubling the batch.
