Course Dessert

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 box White Cake Mix
  • 1 cup of Pink Champagne
  • 1/3 cup of butter softened
  • 3 eggs
  • White Frosting of Your Choice I'd recommend this light and airy vanilla frosting recipe: https://www.reallifeathome.com/light-and-airy-homemade-vanilla/
  • Gold and Silver Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Add your cake mix, softened butter, eggs, and champagne into a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients with a hand or stand mixer on high until well blended.
  • Fill cupcake liners 2/3 and bake according to the temperature and timing on your cake mix's box instructions.
  • All your cupcakes to cool completely.
  • Make your favorite white frosting recipe. I recommend the light and airy homemade vanilla buttercream frosting. (See the notes section on how to modify that recipe to make a champagne buttercream frosting.)
  • Frost your cooled cupcakes and top with gold and/or silver sprinkles. For a lovely look, you could add gold sprinkles to half and silver sprinkles to the other half.

Notes

Want to make champagne buttercream frosting? If you want to tweak the vanilla buttercream recipe I linked to in order to make a champagne buttercream frosting, you could try substituting the milk (or most of the milk) in the light and airy vanilla buttercream frosting recipe for champagne (or pink champagne). While I haven't tried it, that seems pretty in line with what I have seen from champagne buttercream frosting recipes online.
