A few years ago, I shared two sets of free printable First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation invitations, though many could also be used as announcements. Here is the set of downloadable religious invitations from 2012 and here is the set from 2013. I have good news: I have three more that are free to download this year!

Two of the designs are the same, but in different colors. That design features a cross with The Sign of the Cross prayer repeating over the cross. It is available in either pink or blue.
The third design is a chalkboard-style First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation invitation.
These sets of First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation invitations are available for free to download and personalize!
Of course, if you see one of the options that you love (from any of the years) but you don’t want to try to mess with personalizing them yourself, you can pay me $15.00 and give me the information that you want on the invitation/announcement. I’ll create it and send you a .jpg or .pdf file (your choice) or both files for you to have them printed or to just print them at your house without having to worry about how to put your information on them.
Also, if you feel called to want to give a small donation as a thank you, you can find an easy way to do that here. (One of the options if just $2.00.)
How to Download and Use Your Free First Communion Invitations
All of this year’s designs are in zipped files. So, just find the design that you like and click on the link for it. The zipped file will be downloaded to your computer. Each zipped file includes a First Holy Communion version, a Baptism version, and a Confirmation version of the same design. There is also a terms of use file.
For many of my past designs and the Sign of the Cross design this year, one option is just to print them out and then hand write in your information. Obviously, that would prove to be difficult with the chalkboard version this year, as well as some other past designs.
Once you have downloaded the zipped file, you will need to open the zipped file. On most PCs, you should be able to just right click and pick the “extract all” option. On a Mac, I think that they might automatically unzip, though I’m not positive.
If you want to add in all of your information on the computer prior to printing, you will then need some type of software that will allow you to add words to a jpg file. Some examples: Photoshop Elements, Corel Paintshop Pro, PrintShop, Gimp (free), Paint (found in “Accessories” of many computers), and any other program or software that will allow you to add text to a jpg file.
Another option for adding text would be to download the invitation and then use PicMonkey or Canva (both free!) to add text to the invitation. Then, save your invitation at the highest resolution that they offer. (That’s very important, as saving as a lower resolution option can make your printed invitations look horrible!)
Like I already mentioned, if you love the invitations, but this particular part of it worries you, you can hire me to add your text to the announcement or invitation. After I customize it for you, I’ll just email the file directly to you.
How to Get Your First Communion Invitations Printed
Once you have your customized invitation (or announcement) ready, you can have them printed as photographs wherever you like having your photographs developed. Although I usually use a professional photo lab, I would suggest online sites like Winkflash (which even has a sign up bonus) or Shutterfly (also has a sign up bonus).
Limitations to Using These First Communion Invitations
Please remember that I have taken my time to share these with you for free. I even opted to not put my web address anywhere on them because I just didn’t want to mark them up like that. That’s a big deal, and it means that I’m trusting you.

Because of all this, these invitations/announcements are available for personal use only. You may not sell them or redistribute them (even for free) in anyway. You also may not claim them as your own creation.
If you think people would like them, then you just need to send them here to download them (feel free to share the post via Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter as well — there are social media buttons at the end of this post). Using these for anything other than personal use is not only illegal and breaking copyright law, but it’s just not nice or honest. Thanks so much!
