The following is a post from contributing writer Tiffany Manley.
We often spend quite a bit of time figuring out traditions to start the school year, but by the end of year we’re ready to just run from the school work.
Let’s end this year right, by celebrating the fabulous accomplishments you and your children have made.
End of school year ideas on Pinterest – This colorful set of pins has all sorts of great ideas to help you celebrate. Many are meant for classrooms of children, but there’s nothing wrong with adapting these to fit your needs. My favorite is the pretzel crayons!
34 End of Year Activities, Gifts and Printables – In addition to the fabulous link list Tip Junkie has put together, she asked her readers for some of their ideas. They’ve got some great ones!
Last Day of School Galleria – Love this idea! Create a slew of gallerias featuring work from throughout the school year.
End of School Year Tradition: Glitter Toes! – Glitter and color: two of my favorite things! I’m in love with this twist on end of school year traditions. A must if you have girls!
End of School Year Fun and Activities – This link has a few fun ideas that can be adapted by homeschoolers. Hint: one idea involves friendship bracelets!
One of the most important things to remember is that you don’t have to spend tons of money or work too hard on this. Your kids will appreciate any little special thing you do to mark the end of a fantastic year.
So, how do you celebrate the end of your school year? Let me know in the comments below!
