Win a Registration to the Great Homeschool Convention

I have attended a variety of homeschool conventions during our five years of homeschooling.  Some have been large and some small.  Some Catholic and some not specifically Catholic.  My favorite of all of the homeschooling conventions that I have been to is the Great Homeschool Convention, which I have attended twice.  Both times that I went, I attended the convention in Cincinnati, since that’s where we’re the closest to of the three locations.  However, later in this post you’ll have a chance to win a registration to the Great Homeschool Convention location of your choice.

Not only does this mega sized homeschool convention offer a giant vendor hall (which is one of my favorite things about the event), but there are a dizzying array of choices of talks to go to which hit on just about any homeschooling circumstance that you might find yourself in.  I’m especially interested in attending this year as we finish off our oldest son’s last year of middle school and are currently nervously thinking about what high school will be like and how our homeschooling will have to change because of it.

Great Homeschool Convention

While I’m planning to attend the Cincinnati convention, since that’s the one closest to me, you can also read about the ones in Greenville, SC and Ontario, CA.

I’m excited that I can offer one reader the chance that they can attend this convention too!

In this giveaway package, one reader will receive (to their choice of the three locations):

  • 1 Family Registration
  • 2 passes to the Family Comedy Night
  • 1 pass to the REAL FAITH for the REAL WORLD Teen Track

Just leave a comment on this post any time between now and Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 10:00 pm EST telling either which convention location you would pick if you won OR one thing you would like to get out of going to the convention.

Winner will be notified by email and will have 72 hours to respond. If they have not responded in that time frame, another winner will be chosen.

Terms and Conditions for The Homeschool Classroom (just pretend like all of the things on there say Catholic Mothers Online instead of Many Little Blessings, m’kay?)

We were just talking about this and I hear it’s an awesome convention! We would attend in Cincinnati, OH.

  2. Alicia says

I will be homeschooling in a few years (just had my baby!) and would really like to see all the different types of curricula out there. Seeing them in-person would be so helpful for us in our decision making process instead of just seeing them online – gets overwhelming! Thanks for the chance!

  3. Erica says

We are new to homeschooling and look forward to ask the info available at the convention. We will attend in Ontario, CA.

  4. Lisa says

I would so go to the Greenville, SC convention! And I would take two of my good friends that live near there with me. I live in FL, but making it an uplifting girls weekend would be so fun! One friend is about to start formally homeschooling her oldest, and the other is contemplating pulling hers out of P.S. We love homeschooling and can always use a little lifting up and sharing! Thanks for offering this!

  5. Katie says

I would like to homeschool next year. I don’t know a lot about homeschooling, but I am excited and would love to attend the convention in Ontario, CA.

  6. Deb says

I also have a son who will be in high school next year. We’ve been homeschooling for less than a year, so he’s not convinced that homeschooling is the best choice for him.

I’d like to attend the conference in Cincinnati please.

I would love to attend and could get so much from this because I am still completely baffled at how to just start homeschooling. I need encouragement! We’d attend in Cincinnati as well. Thank you.

I’m new to homeschooling and would like to attend the Ontario, CA convention! Thank you for this post.

  9. Delores says

We would go to the SC event due to location! I haven’t been to a convention in years… I could use the boost!

  10. Jennifer says

I just researched last night to see when the convention would be for Cincinnati!! Cincinnati would be our first choice as it is closest to us.

  11. Melissa Ladd says

I have three boys and have toyed with the idea of homeschool but have seriously reconsidered recently. This would be such a great opportunity.

  12. Ruby says

Our family would choose the SC convention. I’d love to look at some Catholic curriculum and learn how to incorporate Cathoicism more into our homeschool.

  13. Sandy says

We have been homeschooling 1.5 years and LOVE it. We are about to add to our family of 5 (3 kids) through foster to adopt and are so excited about all of our new journeys God is leading through. We would absolutely LOVE to attend a conference, and most likely will regardless if we win. But thank you so so much for the opportunity! :) We would gain so much from a conference. We have never been to one and I can only imagine the insight, resources and tips one could gain from one!

  14. Missy says

Would love to go to the Cincinnati, OH one! I’ve got seven children ages 13, 11, 9, 6, 4, 3, and 1.

  15. Tracey Ragan says

I would love to go to the Cincinnati conference. This is our first year homeschooling the kids, and with one entering HS next year, we need as many resources and as much help as we can get!
