Easter is by far one of our favorite holidays of the year. In my home we really focus on the resurrection story and I’m always looking for fun ways to share it with my boys. Here’s some of our favorite activities:
Resurrection Rolls from Women Living Well
This recipe is easy and fun to make with your kids. There’s only 5 ingredients and making them will walk your through the entire resurrection story! Oh and they are really yummy!
Empty Tomb craft from Totally Tots
This craft is a fun way to bring the resurrection story to life for your children. With just construction paper and a brad your children came make their own tombs and then roll the stone away to see that it’s empty.
Resurrection Garden from Homeschool Creations
We made one of these last year and it was a lot of fun. This project lets you re-create the Easter story. It’s a fun family project and really brings the story to life.
Un-Easter Baskets from Impress Your Kids

Amon’s Adventure by Arnold Ytreeide
This book is a fantastic read aloud during the Easter season. The story follows Amon as he tries to prove his father innocent of a crime. As he goes on this journey he learns alot about his father, Jesus and himself. The story takes place the week of the Easter.
Resurrection Study from Grapevine Studies
Stick figure your way through the entire resurrection study with this bible study. It’s fun and great for all ages. They even have traceable versions available for preschoolers and early elementary students that are still working on those fine motor skills.
