Great Homeschooling Links: May 28, 2010

That is my brand new mouse.  I love it.  Well, I love it for all of the times except when (because it is wireless) I just dropped it on my foot.  Ouch!  So, before I manage to drop the mouse on my foot again, I’ll share some great links that I have been enjoying:

It is so easy to be busy as homeschoolers.  I thought this was a great reminder of ways to make more time for relationships.

WUHS Top Picks: High School – Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers
Kris has been writing this series of her top curriculum picks for various ages, and this is the last installment.  The thing that I thought was kind of fun about this was that Kris is only just about to start high school with her oldest, and so she’s a little uncertain about some areas.  I like that she was exploring her options and asking for opinions too.  If you have insights, be sure to stop by!

I really love this calendar that Joy put together.  I loved it so much that we just might have to try it (or a slightly modified version).  If you feel like your calendar isn’t working for you, check out Joy’s plan for next year, as well as comments with other people’s schedules.

    Great links thanks!

I would never get a wireless mouse! I just know in my house you would hear, “where’s the mouse?” about a million times. Yet, maybe then the remote would have company as they would be lost together. lol

This is the exact reason why I can’t get one for the kids’ computer. However, now my husband and I each have wireless ones for our laptops, which the kids don’t use. So, they don’t get lost. :)
